You thrive in a fast-paced environment in which you continually iterate on software design/layouts before communicating the final requirements to a software development team. The right candidate is comfortable with technology, and may have experimented with light development (such as JavaScript, HTML, data visualization/reporting packages), but is equally passionate about the business needs that drive software mechanics
Role Description
- Create software that turns operational data into web-based interactive visuals
- Leverage agile technologies to build prototypes, which are refined through iterations with internal business users and customers
- Proactively research potential technologies and select the optimal path forward based on company needs
- Ecosystems is more about the ‘who’ than the ‘what’, but the following lists relevant technologies that would provide learning-curve efficiencies:
- JavaScript/HTML/CSS
- Data visualization and reporting packages
- Excel/VBA/statistical analysis software
- Understanding of databases, tables, and queries
Requirements
- Direct experience with software interface and report design
- Effective at using visuals, such as graphs and gauges, to turn flat data into a story
- Inherently strong in math and quantitative analysis
- Proven ability in leveraging agile technologies, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting packages
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and high-achieving environment
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong attention to detail
