Senior Vice President, Worldwide Customer Success
Ajay Patel is our Customer Success leader and joined Micro Focus in 2020. He spent over 20 years with BMC,
where he was the Vice President, Customer Success Strategy & Operations in addition to holding various roles
in customer support, services, marketing, renewals, and sales. He is passionate about the Voice of the
Customer, and has been dedicated to Customer Experience metrics and best practices for many years. He
believes Customer Success should be an integral part of business strategy for software companies.
He has developed a strength in bringing teams together to achieve results, not only in working towards building
a holistic customer view, but also across the company, as demonstrated by his prior service as Chief of Staff to
the CEO, where he drove the ongoing operating cadence and key priorities for the leadership team.
Ajay lives in the northern suburbs of Houston, Texas, with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing golf
and attending his two sons college baseball and soccer games.
