Head of Marketing, North America Market
Horacio Miranda is a business executive with over 20 years of experience growing businesses in the tech sector globally. He is responsible for leading HP marketing strategy and marketing initiatives for the North America market, across Printing and Personal system categories.
Before this role, Horacio was a key member of HP’s leadership team in the China market where he led the marketing function, mid-term and long-term strategic planning, and the MD office growth plans, to expand HP business across the Greater China region. Horacio has also held multiple international assignments in Asia & Europe, leading market development and business management efforts for different emerging and growth categories for HP.
Horacio has a strong passion for the development of entrepreneurial skills among youth, especially university students. He enjoys spending time advising entrepreneurs on topics related to business model design, customer value creation strategies, global market entry strategies. In China he led efforts to grow HP’s University community outreach program (HP Dream Factory) where his team established a nationwide Innovation hackathon program, with the participation of over 1,400 students, mentors, and partners a year, to define new applications of technology to improve people lives.
Horacio is an Executive MBA graduate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from ITESM in Mexico. He is based in San Diego, CA.
