For almost three decades, Robert J. Makheja has been a pioneer in the information technology industry, leading executive teams with a focus on the U.S. Public Sector, System Integrators, Outsourcers, and Enterprise global customers.
Robert is currently President and Chief Executive Officer at MFGS, Inc. the Master Supplier for Micro Focus’ best-in-class portfolio of enterprise-grade scalable software solutions to the U.S. Government. He was a principal leader in both the creation and evolution of this purpose-built company in 2018 and has helped grow the new company to nearly $300M in less than 12 months.
Before the creation of MFGS, Inc., Robert was President, CEO, and Board member of Micro Focus Government Solutions, a company built from the merger of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software and Micro Focus International. Prior to the merger, Robert was Vice President of Public Sector at HPE, and he previously held other executive leadership roles at HP. He has also held positions as Vice President for Peregrine System managing North America and Public Sector regions, Vice President at Oracle for North America and their tools and training division, and other sales leadership positions at Texas Instruments and IBM.
