Ron Elliott is the Global Sales Enablement Leader for the Digital division of Baker Hughes, a GE Company. He is an experienced Sales Enablement Leader with heavy focus on IOT and software solutions across various industries. Ron has more than 25 years of solution sales involvement spanning telecommunications, software, hardware and cloud. He has delivered sales enablement in over 35 countries to more than 40,000 sellers. Developing successful sellers has been a key focus for Ron throughout his career. He discovered early on that a product only becomes a product after someone buys it – otherwise it is just a project.
During his career, he has participated in every aspect of the selling process – from delivered the pitch through developing proposals. He has enabled sellers, pre-sales solution architects, channel partners and clients. Ron has managed sales and tech-sales enablement teams around the globe. He has an “under the covers” understanding of the technology and platforms supporting sales enablement effectiveness. Ron resides in Round Rock, TX along with his wife and daughter. He is very active in his community and enjoys vacations in warm sunny places with his family.
